Hoʻopono In Every Home (Tuesday, 1/24/23, 3-4:30pm)
Please join Kaʻaiʻai Paglinawan, Makalauna Feliciano and Loke Kalama of Liliuokalani Trust to learn about Hoʻopono.

Hoʻopono is a modern-day adaptation of the Hawaiian traditional practice of Hoʻoponopono. The purpose of Hoʻopono is to empower families with a cultural approach to resolve everyday pilikia (issues) and maintain harmony.

This session will discuss the Hoʻopono process for community members, including parents, teachers, behavioral health providers and anyone interested in this healthy and healing practice.

The outcomes of Hoʻopono focus on developing healthy communication skills, increasing positive coping skills while decreasing negative coping behaviors, identifying strengths individually and as a family, and learning a Hawaiian/spiritual practice. The ultimate outcome is a vision of “Hoʻopono in every home.”
